Still more to do

We are in our final week of school, and it's been going by so quickly. Today and tomorrow is it, and then we're off for the summer. I am ready for a break...but I'm not completely done yet. I have to start rehearsals for my schools' summer musical, Grease (I'm in the pit orchestra), and then I have to go to drum major camp because I made drum major for next year, and then I get to conduct the fourth of July parade (marching backwards, no less), so I've still got a lot to do. I just got done with my computer literacy final and still have health and choir today (both of which will be a breeze). Yesterday I took Band and Geometry. Band was easy, naturally, and Geometry was pretty easy as well. It's only real problem was that it was long. Spanish and Biology finals were also easy, so assuming I'm a good judge of ease, I suppose I have a 4.0 for the year, which will please my parents. I have to tape for all-state choir today, and will tape for all-state band next wednesday, so wish me luck with my rehearsals and recordings.
Now for a different subject...I've been standing in my own way lately, not allowing myself to completely let go and reach God. I need prayer that I can forget myself and really connect again. It seems with everything I've been doing, I hardly stop to think. I still pray consistently, and though I know He hears me, it seems someone has cut the string between our paper cups. Pray that I can rethink, regroup, and reconnect over the summer. Love in Christ, Sarah (Judy)
