Hi there! This is just a quick note to inform you of a forum issue that you may or may not be aware of. There was a database failure and, unfortunately, if you had registered for the forums since April of this year, then all of your information is lost and you must re-register or let Brad know that you are having trouble. He is feeling pretty bad about the whole thing, but things happen... Wouldn't it be nice to remind both he and Chaz, just how much we appreciate all that they do for us? Hope to see you over at the forums really soon. If you have any social site issues, let me know and I will see what I can do. Thanks!
Jen Avila :)

Hey! Glad to have met up with you on Facebook! What a small world that you would know my father in law....I know Bob was pretty well known in central Jersey for his christian magic act, so I shouldn't be all that surprised. But its neat that you are here too. Welcome to the chaos and jump right in :)

I was checking out your website. It looks very good. It seems to be very firmly based in the scriptures.

A Star is Born

As I walked down Hollywood Boulevard, I couldn’t help counting the bronze stars embedded in the sidewalk, each with the name of a famous star of the entertainment world. There was Barbra Streisand, Jack Nicholson, Glenn Campbell, Bobby Vinton, Zsa Zsa Gabor… I felt as if I knew them as I walked by their name and their star, remembering them for their great performances in movies and songs and plays. As I passed Rex Harrison’s star the songs of My Fair Lady flooded my mind, and then I saw William… Continue

The Ultimate Purpose

I was pretty dull to the universe before that night as I lay on my back in the middle of the tennis courts on campus. I had always thought of the stars as points of light in something called the sky that hung over my head all the time. Every once in a while I noticed that they were up there, and maybe I was glad they were pretty. But that night I changed my point of view. Spread-eagle on a patch of… Continue

The Faith of Abraham

Thousands of years ago a man sat in his tent deeply burdened in his heart. It would not have been obvious why to others, since he seemed to have all that anyone could desire. Yet he lacked the one thing he wanted most. This lack made everything else he had seem without value. This desire in him was a godly one; he wanted a son. There was something good and true in his heart, at times it was as if he was walking not on this cursed land, but back in the garden.

This evening was like that, and our… Continue

The Stirring of the Heart

There is nothing more exciting for a true believer than to look back in the scriptures and see how prophecy was fulfilled. It gives credence to God and His witness. One of the most exciting fulfillments of prophecy recorded inThe ruins of the area surrounding Jerusalem the Old Testament is that of the Jews leaving Babylon and returning to rebuild Jerusalem. This was to fulfill the words of Jeremiah the prophet:

When the seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my… Continue

Lifting Up Holy Hands (Without Wrath or Dissension)

As Christians in America, there was nothing we wanted more than to see an end to denominational squabbles. If there were ever to be any hope for Christianity outside of the return of our Savior, then we would have to come together. Our hearts would leap when we heard someone speak of unity, of love, of life, of something, anything, other than minor points of doctrine such as kept us all divided… Continue
